Classes open to students ages 13+ based on level permissions
Adult Intro to Aerial

Everyone starts here! This is a one-time class where you get to try each of our four primary apparatuses: sling, lyra, silks, and trapeze! Absolute beginners welcome!

Sling 1

Appropriate for beginners and students still learning fundamental sling vocabulary and pathways. Good for all strength and flexibility levels. Stays close to the ground.
Level: Beginner
Prerequisites: Intro to Aerial
Sling 2

Introduces more complicated wraps and wrap theory. Requires more upper body strength than Sling 1.
Level: Intermediate
Prerequisites: Sling 1
Sling 3

Introduces dynamics skills, stacked drops, open drops, and release skills.
Level: Advanced
Prerequisites: Sling 2
Lyra 1

Appropriate for beginners and students still learning fundamental lyra vocabulary and pathways. Good for all strength and flexibility levels.

Prerequisites: Intro to Aerial
Lyra 2

Introduces more strength and flexibility-based skills. Requires strong mounts.

Silks 1

We have students build fabric strength in Sling 1 before starting on silks. Introduces footlock-based skills and climbing.
Level: Advanced Beginner
Prerequisites: Sling 1
Silks 2

Introduces more complicated wraps and wrap theory. Upgrades Silks 1 skills to aerial entries from a climb.
Level: Intermediate

Silks 3

Introduces skills that require an aerial invert or aerial hip key.
Level: Advanced
Prerequisites: Silks 2
Silks 4

Introduces dynamics skills, stacked drops, open drops, and release skills.

Trapeze 1

We have students build bar strength in Lyra 1 before starting on trapeze. Introduces more strength and flexibility-based skills. Requires strong mounts.

Trapeze 2

Introduces inverts in the ropes, more complicated wraps, and wrap theory.
Level: Intermediate

Introduces dynamic skills, drops, and release skills.

Rope 1

We have students build vertical apparatus strength in Silks 2 before starting on rope. Introduces skills that require an aerial invert or aerial hip key.

Rope 2

Introduces dynamics skills, stacked drops, open drops, and release skills.
Level: Advanced+
Prerequisites: Rope 1
Straps 1

Tough conditioning class focused on fundamental straps skills.
Level: Intermediate
Prerequisites: Intro to Aerial and an invert from the ground
Straps 2

Introduces flags, roll ups, and dynamic skills. Requires more strength and range of motion than Straps 1.
Level: Advanced
Prerequisites: Straps 1
Mobility 1

Improves mobility needed for aerial training through self-massage, active flexibility, and strengthening through range of motion.
Level: Beginner
Prerequisites: None
Mobility 2

Introduces splits and backbending with focus on strengthening through range of motion.
Level: Intermediate
Prerequisites: Mobility 1
Aerial Mobility

Improves mobility needed for aerial training through active flexibility and improved range of motion using a low sling. Similar to the movement work of pilateis aerial yoga without the spiritual and meditative practices.
Level: Beginner
Prerequisites: None
Tumbling 1

Focuses on handstand form and finding balance. Also includes rolls, cartwheels, and modified back bending.
Level: Advanced Beginner
Prerequisites: Ability to kick up to a handstand against the wall
Tumbling 2

Introduces walkovers, roundoffs, aerials, and back handsprings.
Level: Intermediate
Prerequisites: Tumbling 1
Low Flow Dance

Contemporary dance class using an aerial apparatus as a prop. Modifications can be made to accommodate all levels.
Level: Advanced Beginner
Prerequisites: Intro to Aerial
