Kristin
Apparatus: Silks, Rope, Lollipop Lyra
Kristin has been practicing aerial arts for over a decade, with the past 5 years spent training and performing with Suspended Animation Aerials, with a focus on silks and rope. Her passion lies in combining movement, artistry, and choreography to create visually captivating performances. Kristin has taken to the skies at a variety of events including Museum by Moonlight at the Children’s Museum, Ciroc New Year’s Eve party, and Uncork Me Indiana wine festival.

Iris
Apparatus: Tightwire, Silks
Iris began her circus journey in 2018 with aerial silks. It lead her to her training in Aloft Circus Arts’ Professional Program in Chicago, where she discovered her deep passion for tightwire in her first year. For Iris, circus is more than a performance–it’s a canvas for storytelling, a space of boundless creativity, and a bridge to deeper connection with herself and others. Her life, like her art, is rooted in balance, and her disciplines embody that harmony.

Shelby
Apparatus: Trapeze, Sling, Lollipop Lyra
Shelby began her aerial journey in 2021 and she instantly fell in love. She currently trains and teaches at Suspended Animation Aerials with her favorite coach, Heather. She has trained extensively on trapeze, sling, silks, duo trapeze, and lollipop lyra. She loves interacting with the crowd while flying high above them. Shelby has performed at a variety of events, including Communion at Aloft Circus Arts in Chicago, Museum by Moonlight at the Children’s Museum, and Girl Pride at the Vogue.

Emily
Apparatus: Silks
Emily is an aerial silks artist, duo silks artist, and coach. She has a passion for fusing strength and artistry to create powerful movements that appear effortless. In her performances, she blends strong musicality with vibrant choreography to captivate audiences. Past performances include Boys & Girls Clubs of Indianapolis Blue Door Gala, Uncork Me Indiana wine fest, Just Beginning the Musical, French Kiss Circus Cabaret, and Circus Slasher Camp.

MJ
Apparatus: Juggling, Trapeze, Lollipop Lyra
As a dancer, flow artist, and sign language interpreter, movement has long been a fascinating means of communication for MJ. Finding aerial arts in 2023 allowed her to translate much of her passion for performance from earth to air. What she loves about artistic disciplines is how they continue to evolve and transform the individual. Unlike something to be solved, the arts invite a practitioner to see with beginner’s eyes each day as their craft reveals new and exciting dynamics worthy of attention. Though trapeze holds a special place in her heart and practice regimen, she is an avid juggler and is delighted for opportunities to perform on lollipop lyra.

Kol
Apparatus: Lyra, Lollipop Lyra
Kol started their aerial journey back in 2014 when they were a member of the Cincinnati Circus Company, and hasn’t stopped flying since! They’ve trained on pretty much any aerial apparatus you can think of but after 2 knee sugeries Kol is currently only performing on lyra and lollipop lyra. Having performed at the Harrison Center, the Children’s Museum, and Girl Pride at the Vogue, Kol’s proudest accomplishment was producing a Circus Slasher Camp in 2023.

Hannah
Apparatus: Silks, Lyra
Hannah started theatre at the Black Box Theater. Her love for the stage led her to the world of clowning and circus where she became Paisley Pat-a-Cake and got the opportunity to explore aerial arts. That brought her journey to Suspended Animation Aerials, where her love for circus and flying came together. Hannah’s passion is for dynamic work on any apparatus. She has had the opportunity to perform with Black Box for over 10 years. Hannah started performing with Suspended Animation Aerials in 2025 including the Harrison Center and at the Children’s Museum Second Century Soiree.

Erilyn
Apparatus: Silks, Sling
Erilyn found her love for aerial after college and has been obsessed ever since! Though she focuses primarily on fabric apparatuses, she also trains trapeze, rope, and lollipop. Erilyn has performed at The Harrison Center, Girl Pride at the Vogue, and the Children’s Museum Second Century Soiree.

Emily
Apparatus: Silks, Sling
Emily stumbled upon circus 9 years ago while living in Querétaro, Mexico. Her primary apparatus’ are silks and sling. She continued her training upon returning to Indiana, advancing to perform at events such as Girl Pride at the Vogue, First Fridays at the Harrison Center, and various studio showcases. She relishes slipping into various stage personalities while performing, and particularly enjoys dramatic drops and choreography.

Kim
Apparatus: Trapeze, Lollipop Lyra
Kim has trained on multiple apparatus, including trapeze, sling, lollipop, and duo work. She has completed several teacher trainings and has loved guiding students on their circus journeys. Kim has recently started performing herself and has been part of Fairyville After Dark, Harrison Center First Fridays, and the Children’s Museum Second Century Soiree.

Lauren
Apparatus: Silks, Rope
Lauren trains on silks, lyra, rope and lollipop lyra. She found a love for aerial 10 years ago then returned back to it in the past 4 years. Lauren loves to perform powerful skills with fun drops and meaningful choreography that that leaves the audience entertained as surprised. Lauren has performed at the Harrison Center, Indy’s Big Gay Markets, and Westfield’s Halloween Grande Junction Plaza.

Katelyn
Apparatus: Sling
Katelyn started her aerial journey in 2017. Her love of dance started as a child but her love of performing started backstage as a coach, developing choreography for her students and managing recitals. The love of being involved in shows evolved into a love of performing herself. She loves being able to connect with audiences, express herself, and tell a story through movement every time she’s on stage. Her primary apparatuses are silks and sling. She has performed at the Harrison Center and in local shows.
